From Tokyo. An instrumental band. Formed in 2008.
The trio consists of Kohei Noda (guitar), Kotaro Mori (drums), and Kodai Funatsu (bass).
In 2010, they released their first album, “shuhari.”
In 2014, they released their second album, “hiizurushinji.”
In 2018, they released their third album, “koete kokoro.”
They actively tour both domestically and internationally.
Since 2009, they have hosted the outdoor festival “Ken no Mai” every fall. The festival features many bands performing under the theme of coexistence with nature.

Jozue is a four-piece rock band based in Tokyo.
Nitanai Ken (vocals, guitar) hit it off with Koichi Uwakawa (bass), whom he met while having a drink for the first time at a takoyaki shop in Nakano, and recruited him to the band.
Later, at Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku, after getting completely drunk, he managed to convince Keigo Tanaka (Dr), who was already a friend of Nitanaiken’s, to join the band.
Jozue was formed in 2016.
In 2017, they recorded and released their 10-track album “Shaberu na Pola.”
They began improvising during live performances.
Their song arrangements began to change frequently.
In 2021, they recorded and released their second album, “Erek to Rick,” featuring 10 tracks.
This ambitious project was produced entirely by the members themselves—from recording to editing—without the help of a professional engineer.
They continue to perform live about once or twice a month, focusing primarily on new songs that haven’t been released yet.
Finally getting around to it, they began recording for their third album in February 2024.
During this time, Mune Sato—a trumpet and percussion player they met and recruited at a bar—joined as the fourth member.
Then, in July, they completed their third album in the blink of an eye.
The reborn Josue is on a roll.

We’re working toward becoming the “Strongest Club of Wimps”—a group that embraces both strength and weakness.
We continue to take on new challenges in an effort to turn weakness into a positive expression.
Led by Yusuke Yasushima, we’re an energetic group of cool members who move at our own pace.
When members are busy, we rely on the support of our backup members; sometimes we even form local chapters—such as the Tokyo and Kansai chapters—to deliver performances unique to each location and moment.
Based on music influenced by alternative, punk, new wave, electronica, hip-hop, psychedelic, and ambient genres, our sound sparks with analog electronic tones and energetic impulses.
